Our Christmas GatePraise show aired LIVE over the weekend.  The GATE studio was filled with the sound of Christmas praises, worshipping the King of Glory.

Joining us were Pastor Tim Mercaldo of Gateway Church Staten Island,  Worship Leader Mark Caplan of Montclair Community Church, and the TLC worship team from Transformation Life Church, playing their newly recorded worship song, Reign.  We would love for you to head over to YouTube and watch the video of Reign.

Pr. Joshua Torres, Executive Pastor at Transformation Life Church, also shared insights about the upcoming Christmas musical, “Straight Outta Bethlehem,” on December 15th. (add link).

This month’s GatePraise featured ‘everything Christmas’, including Christmas music outreaches, popular Christmas soloist songs, and a live Christmas sing-a-long ensemble of our guests and staff.  What a glorious morning!

GatePraise is our monthly showcase of ‘everything music’.  Each month features topics about various aspects of music encountered by worship leaders and Christian musicians.  Musicians perform live during the show, and we have special guest both in house and via phone-in interviews.  Check out our Facebook page for next month’s GatePraise announcements.

Come meet the creators of the Road to Heaven board game and hear what’s on their heart about this Bible-based adventure that’s fun for the whole family.

The Road to Heaven board game was created as a ministry to bring families and church groups together and to give people an opportunity to play an educational, wholesome game while learning Scripture.  It offers players the opportunity to disconnect from technology while together pursuing a deeper understanding of God. 

George was recently privileged to interview  Bill Devore and Michael Rey of the Market Street Mission, a New Jersey ministry that we at the GATE are truly thankful for.  

The Market Street Mission is devoted to assisting individuals in overcoming homelessness, addiction and poverty through a life centered on Christ.  As members of His body, the Church, the Mission’s efforts are focused on presenting the saving power of Jesus Christ to rescue men from the consequences and ultimate penalty of sin, and disciple them for victorious Christian living. 

Grab a friend and listen to GateKeepers this week, to hear Bill and Mike share about the ministry, including the history of the famous sign that adorns the MIssion’s building and declares to all, “Jesus Saves.”

He is committed to praying as a way to stay focused as he runs. George has been preparing for months for this marathon, and deeply desires your prayers to carry him to the finish line as he completes the course set out for him.
