This week’s GateKeepers features Tom Campisi of the Tri-State Voice, a Christian newspaper that has recently gone digital.  

TriStateVoice.com is Metro New York’s Christian Blog/News/Events site. It’s the only website in the region where Christians and seekers can come to be edified and encouraged, “Voice” an opinion or comment, or find a great local event (concert, conference, etc), ministry, or business.

Recent GATE visitor, Bernie Wagenblast of Cranford Radio, surprised us with a reversal-of-roles interview.  Fully expecting to interview Bernie for the GATE, the tables were turned on George and now The GATE Radio is being featured on Cranford Radio this week.

Bernie was the Metro New York voice with Shadow Traffic for decades.  He has served as Director of Cranford Radio since 2014,  providing news and features that cover all facets of life in Cranford, New Jersey.

Dear Listener,

I ain’t no Grinch!
I’m not saying don’t celebrate Christmas.
Rejoice in it!

As the  years pass, I’ve come to celebrate Christmas more as a ‘D-Day’ for the planet, just like when the Allied Forces invaded Western Europe to free the people during World War II.  

It was only the start.

I see Christmas as  a ‘C-Day’ for the planet.  Jesus Himself came, vulnerable and embracing humanity to “save us all from Satan’s pow’r  when we were gone astray.”

But it doesn’t end there.

How I wish we would enthusiastically expend as much—effort and money, excitement and planning, joy and anticipation—into the hope of His soon return as we do for His first coming!

My prayer for us this Christmas, dear listener, is that God’s Word, with the guiding of Holy Spirit, will show us how to do that.

We were recently blessed by a studio visit with Sheldon Bangera, worship leader, song-writer, music composer and producer from Mumbai, India.  He and friends Jeremy and Melissa, took time out of their busy schedule to stop at the GATE and share about Sheldon’s ministry work and future plans.

Sheldon is in the USA, preparing for his upcoming 2019 tour, America On Wheels. You can hear his testimony on GateKeepers, starting this Sunday, December 23d.
